Hello Northwest S.D.C. I have just returned from a meeting on the upcoming Cutsforth Cruise In. It will be held at the Fair Grounds in Canby OR on August 29, 2020 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There will be social distancing and masks required. So-pack up your lawn chairs and plan on enjoying a nice day at the cruise in. When you enter the gate a $10.00 entrance fee will be charged for each car. There will be lunch available to buy or bring your own sack lunch. There will be goody bags for each car and tee shirts to buy. Awards will be presented and brought to the cars that win. So the plan is to meet at the Oregon City shopping center at 7:00 am to leave by 7:30 am to arrive at the Fair Grounds by 8:00 am. Chuck Tubens will lead the group to Canby. I will make sure we have an area blocked off so we can park together. I would like to get a count on how many cars will be coming so I can make sure we have enough room. Please email me at dcmuck@mac.com or call me at 503 263 8819. A flyer about the cruise in that can be found at www.cutsforthscruisein.com

We'll join the Tacoma SDC chapter for an informal meet at the McDonalds parking lot located near Napavine, Washington at I-5 exit 72. Our plan is to meet at the Gee Creek rest area I-5 exit 11 at 10:30 am for an 11 am departure. We will drive at a leisurely pace northbound providing a rolling car show for all the folks traveling up the interstate. A break is planned at next rest area about 40 miles into the trip. After leaving the rest area we will continue our tour to the Napavine McDonalds at exit 72 to meet with our friends from the Tacoma chapter. They have a short cruise planned locally if you care to attend. This exit has several options for food, including Carl's Jr and a Starbucks. There are a couple options for fuel, as well. As for the return home you can head back via the interstate or I will be leading a group back via the two lane blacktop roads along the west side of I-5 as far as Kelso. This event is open to ALL makes and models that care to attend. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel, chairs, and your mask. Hope to see you there.
